Steel tubing gives you strength in every direction with a clean, finished look, which is why it shows up in everything from columns and posts to gates, railings and furniture frames. Iron Wei Steel Corp stocks and sources square, rectangular and round tube for contractors and fabricators throughout New York City.
Tell us the outside size, wall thickness and length you need. We can cut, mitre and drill tubing in our Jamaica, Queens shop or fabricate the finished piece for you.
Tubing we supply
- Square tubing. Equal sides, from small sizes for railings and pickets to large sections for posts and columns.
- Rectangular tubing. Better stiffness in one direction; common for headers, frames, trailers and gates.
- Round tubing. Used for handrails, bollards, structural columns and mechanical parts.
- Structural HSS. Hollow structural sections, commonly produced to ASTM A500, for load-bearing work.

Frequently asked questions
Is tubing the same as pipe?
Not quite. Tubing is ordered by its actual outside dimension and wall thickness, while pipe is ordered by nominal pipe size and schedule. See our pipe schedule page if your drawings call for pipe.
Can you supply galvanized tube?
Galvanized options are available for many sizes. Call us to check current stock for the size you need.
