Key points
- Hot-rolled and cold-finished carbon steel round bar, plus stainless rounds.
- Saw-cut to length in our shop.
- Used for pins, shafts, anchors, pickets and decorative ironwork.
Round bar, also called rod, is solid steel with a circular cross section. It is machined into pins, shafts and bolts, bent into hooks and anchors, and welded into railings and gates. Iron Wei Steel Corp supplies round bar and iron rod to New York contractors, machine shops and ironworkers.
We saw-cut rounds to the length you need, so you receive pieces ready for machining or fabrication.
Rounds we supply
- Hot-rolled round bar. Economical general-purpose bar for fabrication, anchors and ironwork, commonly ASTM A36.
- Cold-finished round bar. Tighter tolerances and a smoother finish for machined parts, for example grades 1018 and 1045.
- Stainless round bar. Grades such as 304 and 316 for corrosion resistance.
- Rebar. Deformed reinforcing bar for concrete work. Ask us about sizes and fabrication.
