Key points
- Wide-flange (W) beams and American Standard (S) I-beams for residential and commercial work.

- Common uses: carrying beams, headers over storefront openings, mezzanines and steel framing.
Beams carry the load in almost every steel-framed building. At Iron Wei Steel Corp we supply wide-flange (W-shape) beams and American Standard (S-shape) I-beams to contractors, fabricators and property owners from our warehouse at 110-40 Dunkirk St in Jamaica, Queens.
Bring us your engineer's beam schedule or tell us the span and load you are working with, and our team will help you match the right section, cut it to length and prepare it for installation.
Beams we supply
- Wide-flange beams (W-shapes). The standard section for structural framing. Parallel flanges make connections simple, and W-shapes are commonly rolled to ASTM A992.
- American Standard I-beams (S-shapes). Tapered inner flanges and a narrower profile; often used for trolley rails, lintels and lighter framing.
- Steel lintels and carrying beams. Beams cut and drilled for masonry openings, basement carrying beams and storefront headers.
